Playgroup - Fridays 9:30am - 11:00am (during school terms) in
the Lecture Hall
Every
Friday, during school terms, Playgroup is available for babies, toddlers
and pre-schoolers and their parents and care givers.
We enjoy the art of play with
a number of exciting materials and learn a little about God's love and our
world, introducing spirituality for the very young.
This assists parents in talking with their young ones about the things
that really matter and opens up opportunities for everyone to grow.
Sharing meals was a major part of the ministry of Jesus. Every Friday,
for lunch (from 12 noon) and dinner (from 5.30pm), people gather in
the Lecture Hall to enjoy the delights of our cafe meals.Some of us usually eat alone, some are families looking for a low cost, friendly evening out, and some just don't like cooking, but we all enjoy sharing good food. The low price ensures that this event is open to everyone.
After the meal people can play board games, make something
crafty, watch a family video or share in Cafe Church, depending on
the week.
Dinner will not be offered on the first Friday of
the month and the Cafe will closed on Good Friday and the two Fridays after Christmas Day.
All people, especially children,
are welcome.
The grand opening of Cafe Spire was on 10th March 2006.
Cafe Spire is currently in recess until September 2010
